The SaysDavid, Kate, Jackson and ClaireOctober 2011
October was a busy month. We had a marathon and Jackson crossed the finish line. Jackson finished his soccer season and we had Halloween. Jackson was Jack Hanna, the zookeeper and Claire was a princess.
Claires Birthday...and other pics from February 2010
Claire's Birthday and lots of snow are the theme for February. Some of these pics are way out of order - my apologies.
January 2010
January was a fun month. Claire figured out how to get past the gate I rigged up to keep her from going up steps. We had a late Christmas in Monroeville. Jackson invented his own knot for tying shoes, which took me the rest of the month to undo.
Christmas 2009
Here are pics from Christmas...better late than never, right? The pic with the laundry basket is Jackson pushing Claire in the "Toy Express". Most of the other pics are from Christmas Day. Jackson had alot of fun and Claire got plenty of fiber from eating wrapping paper.

Jackson and Claire had a lot of fun this Halloween. Jackson finally got brave enough to reach into the pumpkin and grab out the squishy stuff inside (last year this was an issue). Jackson designed the face for the jack-o-lantern and Kate cut it out. For trick-or-treat, Jackson dressed up as Captain America, because we are very into Super Heroes right now and Kate wouldn't let him get the Wolverine costume. Claire dressed up as what I thought was a ladybug but turned out to be the "Love Bug"...but was very cute either way. Jackson went trick-or-treating with his friend Caitlyn who dressed up as Dorothy. Jackson walked a long way to get candy and ate quite a bit of it tonight. You can see him in one of the pictures polishing off a pixie stick under Grandma's watchful eye. Jackson didn't like it that I made him stop eating candy and insisted that he had to keep eating because his teacher said that she hoped that they were all sick of candy when they came back to school. Thanks, Miss Janie! Baby Claire with our friend Joe at our local Gahanna authentic Mexican restaurant...
Jackson and Claire at the Pumpkin Patch
Here are some pictures from our very quick trip up to McComb. We got to play with Grandpa Dan and Grandma Patty. We also went to a pumpkin patch where we took a hayride, picked out a great big pumpkin and went through a corn maze. |
